Nick Santillan

Producer/Engineer/DJ wunderkind Nick Santillan is one of Chicago's best-kept secrets. He has amazed and surpassed his peers in the Windy City on many occasions. As a DJ for only 3 years; Nick has held down a 2 and half year residency at Chicago's underground hot spot Lava Lounge on Saturday nights, does a once a month residency at Lava Lounge Cincinnati on Friday nights for half a year now and has just started a new rotating weekend residency at Chi-town spot Dark Room.

He also runs Inca Studio where he does his own work, serves as Logic engineer to the likes of Lego, Boo Williams, Glenn Underground and Tommie Sunshine and works with session players such as Keith Henderson (Maurice Joshua, E-Smoove, and R. Kelley) on guitar, Ron Hall (Maurice Joshua, E-Smoove and R. Kelley) on bass, Bill Dickens (Byron Stingily) on bass, and Elmer Brown (Earth, Wind & Fire) on trumpet. He cites Moulton Studio's J-Jay, Loveslap's Charles Spencer, and "Little" Louie Vega & Kenny Dope's MAW productions as his major studio influences and name checks Mark Grant, Mauricio Aviles and "Little" Louie Vega as his spinning inspirations.

A man with a defined House Music plan, Nick Santillan will be a household name in a few blinks of your eyes.
